The East Riding has a surprising amount of padel, much of it on farms: indoor courts in converted barns at Wold Padel and Poplars Padel, outdoor courts at Driffield, and eight indoor courts at Court de Padel in Hull. Prices are low, with several clubs at £5 to £6 a head off-peak.
Prices verified October 2026Driffield · 2 indoor
Two indoor courts in a converted barn on a farm outside Driffield, from £20 an hour off-peak to £40 at peak. The East Riding has more padel than you might expect, and this is the dry end of it.
Driffield · 2 outdoor
Two open-air courts with a padel shack for refreshments and a kit shop, on the edge of Driffield. Off-peak hire from £20 an hour makes it £5 each, which is roughly the price of a pint and considerably better for you.
Goole · 2 indoor
Two floodlit indoor courts on a farm at East Cowick, a few minutes from Snaith. At £24 an hour off-peak for the whole court, that is £6 each, and the farm setting comes free.
Goole · 3 indoor
Panoramic indoor courts on a business park in Goole, which is not where you would go looking for world-class padel and is exactly why it is worth knowing about. Live prices are on Playtomic.
Hull · 8 indoor
Eight super-panoramic indoor courts with a bar, café and changing rooms off National Avenue, Hull's biggest indoor padel club.
Hull · 2 indoor
An indoor doubles court and an indoor singles court at the Active+ centre in Hull, playable whatever the North Sea weather is doing.
Selby · 2 covered
Two covered courts built on a former livestock paddock near Wressle, which is about as North Yorkshire as padel origin stories get. Book on Playtomic.
